Baby Einstein strikes again

Zander was seen this afternoon communing with his sound-n-lights star from the Baby Einstein playmat.



And before he weighed in today, super baby here also rolled over on the exam table at the doctor's office. Freak of nature...and he's all ours. Awww.

This just in.... according to the Doctors office, Zander weights 7 lbz 1 oz. This is really good news cuz we have been worried that he wasn't gaining weight. If you get a chance, send Carol and E-mail and tell her how good a job she is doing!!

The amazing thing about being just two weeks old is that even though I can't steadily hold my head up for very long or roll over or even make long distance phone calls, I am still in complete control of this household. I squeak, they jump. The pacifier is my scepter; the dirty diaper, my weapon of choice. Bwahaha! Haha! HaHA!!!

Baby Einstein is Evil!!

I have always been bothered by the Baby Einstein videos. Maybe it was just that it was so fasinating, or maybe because I hadn't thought of such a simple idea that makes millions first.

Today I figured out what is really going on.

Zander doesn't have that many baby einstein things. But he does have this activity mat that his Grandpa and fam got for him. We tried to put him under it the other day it is really didn't do anything for him. We figured it was just that he as a bit to young for it.

Today however, we took the big star thing that comes with it and put it on his boucy chair. As soon as him Mom turned it on so that the lights flashed, and the music came out, Zander was Hypnotised. I swear that kids eyes were going to pop out of his head. That is when I realized what this Baby Einstein company was up to. They are hypnotising a whole generation of kids so that someday in the not so far off future, they will have an army to take over the world.

I quickly turned the noise making thing off. I don't want my son to be part of some evil einstein army ... no way. Carol however things that I turned it off because I didn't want to listen to the tinkling music anymore.

Exchange for a new model?

Forget yesterday's revenge! What was last night about then? What was going through your evil brain between the hours of 4am and 8 am? You can't possibly be hungry every hour on the hour. Not my perfect little boy. You wouldn't do that to mommy's boobs and sanity.

Well, at least I am still the one operating the camera. It may take decades but I will get you back for this, my child!

New Secret Identity

First (and foremost) he is the Marvelous Bean. These embarassing things happen when you spend most of the day swaddled to your nostrils.

Next he revealed his fearsome aspect, Mister Grumpy. Mister Grumpy has a mean left hook and can go from pink to purple in the blink of an eye.

This morning we met Mister Squeaky. If he's not eating, sleeping, pooping, or crying, then he's probably squeaking. What do these squeaks mean? Well, if I told you, then Mister Grumpy might have to kill you. Secrets of the universe and all.

Ah but I must go now. The Marvelous Bean informs me that I am late for our lunch date...

Zanders a week old

Hey there everyone. Zander turned a week old this weekend. He is currently a very happy and healthy baby boy. Mom and baby are getting a lot better with learning how to feed, and everyone is getting a lot more of extra sleep.
